Why I Created Impala Adventure Travel

There comes a point where a passion for travel becomes something more, not just something you enjoy, but something you feel compelled to share properly.
For me, that moment came after years of planning journeys, travelling to some of the world’s most extraordinary places, and seeing first-hand the difference that thoughtful, expert planning can make. Travel today is more accessible than ever, but truly meaningful travel — the kind that feels seamless, considered and deeply memorable, is something else entirely.
Impala Adventure Travel was created to offer exactly that.
I specialise in luxury adventure travel for clients who want more than just a holiday. From polar expeditions to Antarctica and the Arctic, to exceptional safaris across Africa and immersive journeys through some of the world’s most remarkable landscapes, my focus is on creating travel that feels personal, purposeful and completely tailored.
These are not trips you simply “book”. They are journeys that require understanding, of the destination, the logistics, the pace, and most importantly, the person travelling.
Having experienced many of these destinations myself, I’m able to offer honest, first-hand advice on everything from choosing the right expedition ship in Antarctica, to selecting the perfect safari lodge for the season, to understanding how a journey should flow to feel effortless rather than overwhelming.
This blog is an extension of that approach. It’s a space where I’ll share insight, experiences and inspiration, from behind-the-scenes perspectives on the trips I plan, to honest reflections on destinations, and ideas for those looking to travel a little differently.
Because the most rewarding journeys are rarely the most obvious ones.
If you’re someone who values experience over excess, detail over assumption, and wants to explore the world with confidence and curiosity, you’re exactly who I created this for.
