My Adventure Travel Story

What started out as a hobby soon became an obsession and in 2023 Impala Adventure Travel was born. Travel has always run deep in my veins even in my previous career which was nothing to do with Travel, at every opportunity I wanted to be out exploring.  I have always had a curiosity about the world, a desire to understand places properly, and a pull towards experiences that feel a little beyond the ordinary.
 

Over time, that curiosity evolved into a career.
 

I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, but more importantly, to travel with purpose. From expedition journeys to Antarctica, where the scale and silence are unlike anywhere else on earth, to safaris across Africa where every day is shaped by nature, to overland adventures that test both patience and perspective, these experiences have shaped not only how I travel, but how I plan travel for others.
 

What I’ve learned is that the most memorable journeys are never accidental. They are carefully considered. They balance logistics with spontaneity, comfort with authenticity, and always reflect the individual traveller.
 

This is what led me to create Impala Adventure Travel.
 

I work with clients who want more than just a destination, they want to feel something from their travels. They want access to places that aren’t always obvious, experiences that feel personal, and the reassurance that everything has been thoughtfully arranged.
 

My approach is very hands-on. I take the time to understand how my clients like to travel, what excites them, and what they value most. From there, I design journeys that are completely tailored, whether that’s a polar expedition, a safari, or a multi-stop itinerary that brings together culture, landscape and experience in a seamless way.
 

Having experienced many of the destinations I sell, I’m able to offer honest, practical advice, not just where to go, but when, how, and why.
 

For me, travel is not about ticking boxes. It’s about creating moments that stay with you long after you return home.
 

And that’s exactly what I aim to create for every client I work with.
